Primal Armor

I created Primal Armor in December of 2019 as a motivated Exercise Physiologist with a desire to help others.

Backed by countless hours of instructing and collecting data in the research lab, as well as a Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology, I wanted to put my knowledge to use, so I started a podcast to help other's on their fitness journey.

I am also a career firefighter, so my entire life is spent with the need to help others. But the mission behind Primal Armor is to be able to make a difference in the lives of those who I am unable to help myself.

My family is affected by Huntington's Disease (HD).

For those who are unaware about what HD is, the best way to describe it is that it's a terminal illness that is like having Alzheimers, Parkinson's, and ALS all put into one. Scientifically speaking, it's a neurodegenerative disorder (progressive breakdown of the brain) that attacks a person's cognitive and motor functions until their body succumbs to the illness.

There is currently no cure.

I lost my oldest sister to HD in 2015, and lost my youngest sister to it in 2024.

It has wreaked havoc on our family to watch them battle this disease, with ultimately no way to help them.

Being someone who's always so used to helping people and having all of the answers, it breaks my heart that this is something that I cannot do anything about to fix.

That's why I made Primal Armor, as my way of creating a difference.

Primal Armor donates 100% of its proceeds from the podcast towards Huntington's Disease research.

Each time you listen to an episode, you are helping my mission of trying to find a cure.

Each time you buy from our shop, you are helping my mission of trying to find a cure, as a large portion of our proceeds go towards HD research.

I have recently dove into gym equipment manufacturing as well to be able to help raise money for HD in the best way I know how, helping other's on their fitness journey.

My short weekly podcast episodes weren't enough in my eyes, I needed to be doing more. So I have been working tirelessly to bring forth high quality equipment for those of you in the fitness community.

I want to thank each and every one of you that has helped the Primal Armor mission, from the bottom of my heart.
