16 oz Plastic Classic Honey Jars

If you're selling honey at retail, this is almost certainly the jar you want. The 16 oz classic is our best-selling plastic honey jar by a wide margin — it holds exactly 1 lb of honey, which is the standard size customers expect to see on a market table. Same silhouette as our glass classic jars, just lighter and shatter-resistant.

Lids are sold separately. The jar uses a 38-400 continuous thread opening — both 38mm flip-top caps and 38mm dripless inverted lids fit this jar. Lids with a pressure-sensitive safety seal press onto the bottle automatically when screwed down.

A Note on Sizing

This jar holds approximately 16 oz by weight (454 grams) — about 1 1/3 cups of honey. The actual liquid volume is closer to 10.67 fluid ounces. Honey jars are sized by weight, not volume — the label says 16 oz because that's how much honey fits, not how much water would.
