The 12 oz Plastic Flat Panel Honey Bear is a soft, squeezable honey bottle in the mid-range size — heavier than the 8 oz for buyers who want more, lighter than the 24 oz for buyers who aren't ready to commit to a full 1.5 lbs. The flat front panel is sized for a 2 × 2.25 inch label, which is plenty of space for a clean branded design. The bear shape is the most recognizable container in honey retail, and the 12 oz format covers the widest range of use cases: farmers markets, CSA boxes, specialty stores, and online direct-to-customer sales.

One thing worth knowing: this bottle is made from soft LDPE plastic, which is more squeezable and flexible than the firmer PET used in our classic plastic jars. The trade-off is that LDPE is slightly less optically clear than PET — the honey is visible, but the walls won't be as crystal-clear as a PET jar. If maximum optical clarity is the priority, the 12 oz Plastic Classic Jar is the PET alternative. The bear shape is what brings most customers to this product.

The bottle uses a 38-400 continuous thread finish. The 38mm Flip Top Lid is the standard pairing; the 38mm Dripless Lid is worth considering if you're doing table sales where drips are a hassle. Both include a pressure-sensitive plastisol safety seal.
